Returns & Refunds

We’re committed to making good home products accessible to all — and we want you to feel confident shopping with us.

If your item isn’t working out, we’ve got you covered — with just a few simple conditions to keep things fair for everyone.


🕒 Return Requests Must Be Made Within 7 Days

To be eligible for a return or refund, you must notify us via email within 7 days of your delivery date.

Once approved, your return must reach us within 30 days from the date of our approval email. Late returns beyond this timeline will not be processed.


🚫 What Can & Can’t Be Returned

  • Only regular-priced items purchased directly from our website are eligible.
  • Returns are not accepted for: sale, discounted or promotional items, gift cards. Unless the item is confirmed to be defective upon receipt (see Defective Goods below).

🛠️ What is considered a defect? (for full details, read our Terms Of Service)

We consider a product defective if it meets one of these conditions: it has a manufacturing fault affecting its intended function, or a material flaw that deviates substantially from what was advertised.

The following do not qualify as defects:

  1. Natural material variations such as wood grain, colour differences, slight unevenness, or subtle surface marks (e.g. pin-sized dots, light specks, or texture inconsistencies)
  2. Minor cosmetic imperfections that are inherent to handcrafted or molded production processes
  3. Damage due to improper use, washing, or storage
  4. Packaging imperfections that do not affect the product’s use

All defect claims must be submitted with supporting photos and are subject to review by Good Maison. Our determination will be final.


📦 Return Eligibility Checklist

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be unwashed, unused, and in their original packaging
  • You must include a valid Order Reference number (e.g. #GM12345)
  • Returns must be sent via trackable shipping
  • You must have a customer account with us
  • Each item may only be returned once

Returns may be redeemed for store credit or a refund once approved and returned  successfully:

  • If you choose store credits, you will receive the full value of your return, valid for 1 year from the date of issue. 
  • If you choose to receive your money back to your original payment method, a $15 restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

ℹ️ Important to Know

  • All return shipping fees, customs duties, and taxes are to be covered by the customer.
  • Untraceable returns will not be reimbursed.  
  • If your return brings your order below the free shipping threshold, the original shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • We reserve the right to deduct an additional $10 handling fee for returns that require exceptional admin time — e.g., incomplete return info or extensive back-and-forth.

🔁 Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you’d like a different item, you may return the original (if eligible) for store credit and place a new order.


All return and exchange decisions by Good Maison are final.
