The Lowdown:

Upgrade your boring instant noodles and turn it into this Creamy Miso Butter Ramen.

It's decadent, cheesy, and oozing with umami that makes it a real treat on any given day! Done in the same time it takes to make regular indomie and ten times more luxurious, what's not to love? It's a hit with tiny and big humans alike - our team particularly likes it as a naughty midnight supper 😜 

Notes: You could use the instant noodles of your choice but we love the bouncy QQ texture you get from the Korean ramens. Feel free to tweak it to how you like: add more cheese, some of that ramen seasoning or even add more water to make a saucier, slurpier version. You do you, but we guarantee you the flavour combination of miso, butter and cheese is killer (you're welcome).   

Creamy Miso Ramen


(Serves two)

Two instant ramen noodle blocks
1 tbsp unsalted butter

2 tbsp miso paste
1 tsp light soy sauce

¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
More grated parmesan cheese
Dried parsley (optional)
Ramen seasoning (optional)



  1. Boil some water to cook the ramen noodles.
  2. Once done, drain the water from the pot.
  3. Add the butter, miso paste and light soy sauce into the noodles.
  4. Toss together to combine.
  5. Add in the grated parmesan.
  6. Toss again till the cheese has melted and sauce is now creamy.
  7. Top with more grated parmesan, some dried parsley and a sprinkle of the ramen seasoning to finish.
