Soy Milk Miso HotPot


The Lowdown:

Here's a new hotpot soup recipe to try this Lunar New Year: Soy Milk Miso Hotpot. Umami dashi and miso flavours come together in a comforting milky broth. Goes especially well with chicken and sweet cabbage & corn.


3 cups water

1 tbsp dashi powder 

2 tbsp white miso paste

¼ cup mirin

1 cup unsweetened soy milk 


  1. Bring water to boil, add dashi powder.
  2. Make white miso paste by whisking some hot soup to make paste, add it in after mixing.
  3. Add mirin and soy milk in, together with your favourite vegetables and meat
  4. Let it cook thoroughly and enjoy!
