Easy Steamed Ginger Salmon

The Lowdown:
Our easy steamed ginger scallion salmon recipe is ready in just 20 minutes 🐟 🥢 🧄, making it the perfect weeknight meal! That delicious scallion ginger garnish with that sauce is so ADDICTIVE, all you need is a bowl of rice (or maybe two) 😛
Ingredients
For the fish:
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp wine
2 cloves garlic, minced
Sauce garnish:
1 tbsp sesame oil
1-inch knob ginger, julienned
2 stalks spring onions, julienned
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp wine
1 tbsp sugar
½ tbsp water
Steps:
- Add chinese wine, light soy sauce and garlic to Salmon
- Steam for 8 minutes
- Heat pan and add sesame oil, bentong ginger
- Saute till golden and bubbling but not brown
- Add spring onion, chinese wine, light soy sauce, water and sugar
- Stir for 30 seconds to let sugar melt in sauce
- Top salmon with the mix. Enjoy!
