Honey Garlic Air Fryer Wings

The Lowdown:

Air Fryer Honey Garlic Wings. Crispy, sticky wings tossed in a sweet, garlicky sauce that you’ll want to drizzle over everything. 🍗✨

With a little prep and a lot of flavor, these wings are glazed with buttery honey soy goodness and ready in no time. Perfect for a weekday treat or game night with friends!

Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken wings
  • 10 cloves garlic, grated
  • 2 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/8 cup honey
  • 1/8 cup light soy sauce
  • Olive oil (for seasoning)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Steps:

  1. Prep the Wings: Start by patting the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Toss them in a bit of olive oil, and season with salt and pepper to taste. This will help them get extra crispy in the air fryer!
  2. Air Fry: Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (390°F). Place the seasoned wings in a single layer in the basket and air fry for 20-25 minutes, flipping them halfway through for even cooking. The wings should be golden and crispy when done.
  3. Make the Sauce: While the wings are cooking, prepare the honey garlic sauce. In a small pan over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the grated garlic and ginger until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Add the honey and light soy sauce, stirring constantly until the sauce begins to thicken slightly, about 3-4 minutes. Set aside.
  4. Coat the Wings: Once the wings are done, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the warm honey garlic sauce over the wings and toss to coat them evenly in that sticky, flavorful glaze.
  5. Serve: Serve the Honey Garlic Wings hot, garnished with a sprinkle of sesame seeds or chopped spring onions if you’d like. Enjoy them with your favorite side dishes like rice or a simple salad.
